In Althea's world, two players need to play together and communicate with each other to conquer the obstacles they would meet.

Two players have different skills. The walkable character, dryad, has the ability to move heavy objects and protect the fairy. On the other hand, the flyable character, fairy, has a magic wand which can activate runes and purify poison water. During the experience, they need to tell each other what happens around them and help each other.

Our goal is to establish an emotional connection between the two players. In fact at the end of the semester, when the game was shown in the BVW festival, players hugged after they went through this beautiful journey.

It was developed by a team of 5 within two weeks during BVW round 5.

I implemented some interactions in the game, like the flowers which eat people, purifying water, and protecting the fairy in the tunnel. I also wrote a shader of glowing water that has reflection and implemented a shader of burning effect using amplify shader editor. I implemented a network manager using Unity's network API and event system to synchronize player's action.
